We had an amazing Easter getaway in the Klein Karoo! the first thing that blew us away was the stunning wildlife we encountered as soon as we arrived. Driving through a small herd of springbok, gemsbok, and eland was an unforgettable experience. the accommodation was comfortable, clean, and felt like a home away from home. We loved that it was serviced daily, and the solar and gas power added a unique touch. And let's not forget the magical giraffes we saw right outside our unit in the morning!
The only downside we encountered during our stay was the lack of hot water in the showers. Despite our efforts, we couldn't seem to get the water temperature right, and we didn't want to waste water due to the ongoing drought in the area.

I was amazed by the stunning mountain views from the balcony of my room. It felt like being in a painting, surrounded by nature's masterpiece. Plus, having a fully equipped kitchen allowed me to unleash my inner master chef and prepare delicious meals throughout my stay.
Fridge placement was inconvenient.

We had the most amazing romantic escape in the Klein Karoo. The chalet was lovely and modern, providing us with everything we needed. We were thrilled to be greeted by a herd of wild game as we drove through the property. It was such a magical experience, especially seeing the giraffes right outside our unit. And the fact that the chalet was powered by solar energy added a unique touch to our stay.
Though our stay was amazing overall, there were a few minor things we didn't enjoy. the lack of hot water in the showers was a bit frustrating, but we understand the drought situation in the area.

The location was perfect, allowing us to spot wildlife right outside our cottage. The staff, especially Chantal, were courteous and hospitable, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

Loved having a private garden with a barbecue, felt like a fancy outdoor chef. Also, free parking for my fancy car, so posh! George Airport was conveniently close, perfect for my jet-setting lifestyle. And oh, the wildlife ranch and museum were practically next door, a cultured posh lady's dream come true.
Just a minor inconvenience, but I found it amusing that I had to share the barbecue area with a few bugs. They seemed to think they owned the place.

Very quiet location with plenty of game, including giraffes. The host, Chantal, is kind and accommodating. Self-catering facilities available, so bring your own drinks and food. Enjoyed a safe 8 km jog within the fenced area. Clear email instructions provided for accessing the gated entrance.

The garden was lit, we chilled there and played some frisbee. And yo, the airport was just 80 km away, so shoutout to easy travel vibes. The place had mad good energy, perfect for us young party-goers. We got our turn-up on and had a blast!
The only thing we would've asked for is a sick party spot, like a club or something, close to the lodge. We wanted to keep the fun going, but we had to travel pretty far to hit any clubs.

the property was stunning, and we were thrilled to see a variety of wildlife right at our doorstep. the units we rented were comfortable, clean, and had a homey feel. It was a pleasant surprise to have the units serviced daily, and we appreciated that the property operated on solar and gas power. the braai area was outstanding, and we enjoyed sitting on the porches and taking in the beauty of nature. Our highlight was encountering two giraffes just outside our unit in the morning - it felt magical!
All was perfect! 😊.
